What kind of shoes are suitable for running? Dr.Romanov recommends wearing lightweight shoes with thinner soles. Browse through the selection below to read some posted reviews, to get a better idea of what you need and find the right running shoes for you!

Giuseppe,

we don't sell any of the shoes listed on our website. We just list what we would like to recommend to athletes and we list the links to those shoes online.

Please contact the online stores directly for shipping and other questions.

Thanks,
Lana

I started Pose last winter with a pair of zoom waffle xc (cross country) and took the spikes out. I put them back in to run when it was icy which seems to be a great training aid. You are forced to land correctly on spikes! During the summer I started to wear through the soles and the spike mounts were showing which prompted me to special order a pair of zoom waffle XC (nikeID program) with the spikeless sole. That shoe has much less forefoot padding which some die hard Posers might like, but I was training for IronMan and comfort is king. I then found the zoom waffle racer which is the zoom waffle xc withouth the spike plates, and retaining the slight padding which I found to be much more comfortable on long runs. The sales person at my local shoe store (Marathon Sports) told me that the rival has replaced the waffle starting with the fall model line?

When the ground is any but dry pavement, the Nike Waffle Racer 3 is my weapon of choice. The tread is much like an off-road mud tire. The shoe is also a little on the stiff side, though it is curved like a track shoe. The tread and stiffness are needed when the ground is slick, muddy, rocky, sandy, or generally unstable. However, even on dry pavement or the track, these shoes still feel great.

The Nike Waffle Racer 3 is also a great value. They retail for $40. This makes them a great starter shoe for learning the Pose Method. This shoe appears to be an inexpensive all around track shoe for students; from 100m to XC. I know one student (and mom) that is very happy with this shoe, and won several races while wearing them.
