I give these shoes a big thumbs up.
I have both the 230s, blue and 285s, red. I wear my street size in the 285 - 10.5 and 11 in the 230s. The 11 in the 230s because it was half price and the only size available. I think you can go with your street size or 1/2 up. The 11 in the 230 is a better fit than the 10.5 in the 285. The 285 is designed for rough terrain so I would choice street size to eliminate bulk and weight. The 230 is lighter so the extra 1/2 makes a smaller difference and gives me a nice roomy forefoot, and I would stay with the 11 after experiencing the ride.
The 285 is like running in a hummer, great for rocks, etc but I've also taken it long distances on concrete. The 230 is a little heavy and bulky by Pose minimalist standards, but it is a sweet shoe. I've also taken this one on long runs on concrete.
I like both as all around shoes. These shoes offer a nice firm outer with good protection but still responsive and without a built up heel.
Nice British import.
