Pose Method® of Running by Christopher Drozd
"Don't shoot me, I'm only the messenger," laughs Nicholas Romanov, developer of the Pose Method® of running. This philosophy regards running as a skill sport rather than an innate ability as individual to each as eye color. Romanov's detractors, with a zeal of religious fundamentalists, discount that there is one correct way of running and often ask, "Where's the science?" Click to read full article

The substance behind a… Good running style by Benedict Carey, LA Times Staff Writer
Some people lope, some scramble and others fly off in a confusion of knees and elbows. Running isn't an art form; it's what people do at the airport when they're late for a flight or the neighbor's ill-tempered dog rounds the corner. Click to read full article.
Fitness Is Life
I've been lifting weights since 1973, and in 1984 began personal training. In 1986, I decided fitness would make a worthy career. Years of being witness to highly successful individuals pursuing their lost health, youthfulness, strength and physical ability confirm that I've made the right choice of lifestyle.
Growing up I had many other interests aside from exercise--drawing, playing music, reading, writing, watching movies. Still do. Ultimately, though fitness and exercise have quite literally been the adhesives that've kept my body, mind and my life together since I was about 12. I fully expect to be just as active in 20, 30 or 50 years as I am now: regularly snowboarding, cycling, swimming, running, weight lifting, and more. I strive daily to share what has become my fountain of youth with my friends, clients and through this website, the world.
Of course, there is more to life than physical fitness. Yet, without the higher energy, greater stamina, functional strength, improved health and physical confidence characteristic of maintaining your fitness, what life do you really have?
