I started doing triathlons in 2002 after being encouraged by friends who had become triathletes to give it a try. I quickly fell in love with the sport, and enjoyed training with my friends who shared my passion. As a newcomer, I assumed they knew what they were doing so, I just went along and followed their training practices and routines. I ended up paying a high price ,however, for my lack of knowledge and for following others, who, it turns out, were as uninformed as I was - I got injured. Getting injured, seemed like the worst possible fate at the time, but now, with hindsight, I appreciate the silver lining. It is what led me to find solutions, and that is how I met Dr. Romanov.

Through Dr. Romanov, I learned that there was a much more intelligent approach to training and to understanding movement itself. When I began to understand his philosophy of movement, his applications of biomechanics, and his training methods, I knew that I wanted to work and train using this logical, and effective approach. This is what led me to this moment and to becoming a Pose Tech Level II coach.
I am still participating in triathlon (free of injury now) and, since adopting the Pose MethodŽ, continue to see improvements in my training results and race performances. I have been especially fortunate to have worked with Dr. Romanov on swimming and have seen my swimming splits improve dramatically since applying the tenets of the Pose MethodŽ of Swimming. The technique and drills have really resonated with me and with athletes whom I train.
I am currently helping to coordinate Pose MethodŽ Running and Triathlon Clinics in Mexico and have been assisting Dr. Romanov as a coach and instructor. My goal is to continue facilitating the proliferation of Pose Clinics to help spread this knowledge and make it available to more triathletes and athletes of all kinds around the world.

HOW TO LEARN THE POSE METHOD OF RUNNING - Part I by Dr.Romanov
It is necessary to remind you that the Pose Method was developed as a biomechanical model of running and the way to teach it. The conceptual base of the model states that running is the skill of using the natural force of gravity as a major propulsive force and treats the rest of the forces as assisting gravity.
