As a Chiropractor with a strong background in biomechanics, sports injuries and rehabilitation, I was drawn to the Pose Method. During my years in practice I treated the gamut of athletes from professional, College, HS as well as the average "weekend warrior". I've seen first hand the problems that people encountered with improper running technique.
I've studied and utilized other running techniques and have found Dr. Romanov's to be the most efficient and biomechanical sound. From an injury prevention standpoint, anyone who wants longevity in their running should be drawn to his methods.
As an athlete in the over 50 year old age group, I know full well the importance of this. From an efficiency point of view, as in any sport, proper mechanics translates to less energy expenditure and better performance. As a competitive age group runner and triathlete, I count on this.
