- Pose Method® Certified Running Coach Level I

At school in the late 70s I played a lot volleyball and some badminton.
Later in the mid 80s I got a license for flying with a glider.
When I finished school I started with Karate for 5 years (until 3rd Kyu).
In 2002 I learned jogging to do some runs with colleagues in the morning
before a seminar for one week. 9 months later I ran my first marathon and
later 9 more of them.
Somehow I got injured in that time, possibly from a
long downhill run or possibly one of the 22 milers I did in marathon
preparation was not healthy for me. The insertion area of my achilles tendon
or bursa makes some trouble. I tried this and that, learned a lot but did not
find a miracle. Even with pose or what I understood how it should be (my
english is not the best and I misunderstood some in the foreighn langugage),
it took some time until it started to get better.
Today I know, if you do everything right, there is nothing better than the
pose method, but learning only by book and dvd did not work well for me. I
did too much wrong. My first intention in becoming a certified coach was to
become a more qualified buddy for those I learn it together with. I want to
help others to avoid the errors I did. I am not a professional in the sports
field and did not study sports nor did I work as a coach in a sports club or
"Lauftreff", but do have some experience and want to share it with others
