My Pose Method of running journey began in mid-April of 2005. After 14 years of competing at the Highschool, Collegiate, and Post-collegiate level I had decided to begin my efforts towards coaching and training others. As I began my coaching career at a Division III College in Louisiana I quickly realized that in order to help my beginning runners improve with as little risk of injury and with the fastest improvements in their performances I would need to continue to find a specific model of running technique that I could teach and evaluate them under.
My Current Personal Bests:
400m- 49.68
800m- 1.47.80
1000m- 2.19.68
1500m- 3.39.12
Mile- 3.59.81
5K- 14.13.64
10K- 30.34

My search ultimately led me to the "Pose Method of running". Though there is lots of data out there about running, there seem to be very little agreement on how to teach running as a skill. As I examined and evaluated the technique I quickly realized both from a common sense approach as well as from a scientific standpoint how and why the Pose Method model of running would not only help my runners, but also give any runner the capability to run faster, and injury free.
I encourage every runner whether a beginner or an elite to learn the Pose Method of running technique. It will be the best thing you could possibly do for your running. I look forward to teaching people how to run their best as well as perfecting my own running.
I would like to thank Dr. Romanov for his deligence and commitment to bringing the Pose Method model of running to the world. Thank You!

HOW TO AVOID INJURIES IN RUNNING by Nicholas Romanov, Ph.D
The majority of running community accept running injuries as the inevitable consequence, some kind of a price for the "luxury" of being a runner. Since the first burst of interest in running in the 70s until now the rate of injuries there still remains the same: 2 from 3 runners injured every year. Why is that? Many scientists were looking for the reasons behind such a high rate of injuries in such a "simple" event. The answer was thought to be spread somewhere between high mileage of training and not so comfortable shoes, leaving in the shadow running itself.
