I am no athlete, no triathlete, no personal trainer and no marathoner. I am just an ordinary person and a teacher with 34 years of experience. I learned Pose to teach it to my students (mostly Gr. 8) and get closer to them. As a by-product, it keeps me fit and healthy.
Also, as an administrator on forums that help young guys to prepare – physically and mentally – for the rigor of BUD/S, I wanted to give back to the community that helped me so much. It became evident in the running forum that many guys had running problems, including injuries. Running is a major hurdle for many of these guys who aspire to become Navy SEALs and someone suggested in a reply to learn Pose as a way to run injury free.
And the rest is history. I began to investigate the method and I decided to attend my first clinic in January 2006. Then I went back for private lessons in May, then for my Coaching certificate in July.
