I have always run ever since I was in my early teens and through university, training and competing in short distance 200m sprints to cross country. I guess I never fell into a particular type of runner. When I was told by level 4 Running Coach Lee Saxby that my running was inefficient, I was a little taken back, as you can imagine! The challenge I found out wasn’t just to learn a new technique, it was to relearn, and lose a habit of running that I thought I had successfully mastered in my youth.....if only I had learnt at school that running like all other sports is a SKILL and not just measured by fitness, speed and distance.

Since learning Pose Running I can see a complete change in my running style with no injuries and vastly quicker recovery times. My running has got quicker and I feel more confident in my ability to run from short 400m distances to marathons.

With plenty of running experience behind me I have coached a number people to run more efficiently using the Pose Method. Everyone takes a different amount of time to learn Pose Running and it tends to be with those who are more open and enthusiastic about improving their running that picks it up quickest. I would say the benefit most people get is more INJURY-FREE running.

I am a Coach who believes in natural and pain-free movement which is why the Pose Method appeals to me so much.
