Bernard Baski played fifteen years of amateur and professional hockey where he was mentored and trained by some of Canada's top coaches. His desire to help other young up-and-coming hockey players excel was the turning point of his career. His devotion to athletics helped him build a career as a trainer and a coach at one of Canada's top training camps. His experience with aerobic, anaerobic, and strength training helped him to develop a successful training formula.
Bernard has worked with Olympic running coach Dr. Nicholas Romanov to become one of his Pose Method® Certified Coaches (official method of the US Olympic Training Center).
Today Bernard serves as head coach for the Club at MGM where he heads up all of their outdoor training programs. He also coaches for Team in Training, which is the largest endurance-training program in the world.
Bernard is certified by the National Endurance, Sports Trainers Association as a private trainer. He is a certified indoor cycling coach and can be found at leading health clubs putting his TRI-CYCLINGTM classes through one of the toughest indoor workouts around.
His performance-based approach has been recognized as both unique and effective methods for improving outdoor cycling performance. He is nationally certified with Bicycle Fitting Systems as one of their top fit specialists in the U.S. and Canada.
His love of coaching and his competitive edge have been fulfilled through the sport of triathlon. He has competed in four Ironman Triathlons, has qualified for triathlon national championships, and for the Boston Marathon.
