BAREFOOT AND HEALTHY
How's going
barefoot connected to being healthy? Very directly. Lots of people have already found that out and are enjoying the benefits.
Going barefoot holds many good things for everyone without exception. It will help you improve coordination,
balance,
perception, it will help you develop the foot muscles neglected and virtually atrophied due to wearing traditional shoes.
Anyone even remotely familiar with Chinese medicine, or at least acupuncture, knows how vital the health of our feet is. A minor deviation could negatively reverberate through the entire body. Modern shoe industry completely disregards that, otherwise our shoes would look very different.
There is also another benefit to spending time barefoot that
we mentioned back in 2005 in one of the first articles on
barefoot running. Going barefoot helps to release psychological stress through the reduction of electrical charges in the body. During our daily activities our body accumulates positive electrical charge, as any biological body. With excessive physical, emotional and mental work this charge could go over limits of what our body could normally handle. Then we need to discharge our body to allow our electrical activity to return back to normal.
Running barefoot on the ground allows to release excessive polarity and return body's electrical activity, as well as our emotional and mental condition, back to normal. Shoes, having rubber sole, that acts as an electrical insulator, do not allow for this natural process. This causes delayed psychological break down and various other illnesses.
Find a moment in your busy day and do yourself a favor by simply taking your shoes off. Stand, walk around, bounce a little, run, do whatever makes you happy, but do it. You will feel better!
In case you're wondering, there are some companies today that produce better and more comfortable shoes than others. Wearing shoes is a necessity these days, so choosing pairs that don't deform your feet is of vital importance. Interestingly, shoes that are better for your feet are normally less expensive than others.
